Open access to our platform for SARS-CoV-2 surveillance

Molecular surveillance is an important tool to detect ongoing SARS-CoV-2 transmission, and provides critical information to limit the spread of the virus.

nanozoo GmbH will support anyone who participates in the German SARS-CoV-2 surveillance effort: We offer — for free — the computation of the required “consensus sequence” from any form of whole-genome sequencing data (e.g. Nanopore or Illumina).

Just send us an email (contact@nanozoo.org) on which technology you use and approximately how many samples you want us to compute. You'll receive a token to upload your raw data and launch the analysis on our platform.

In case you haven't established sequencing in your laboratory, we are happy to offer advice on how to do this, too.
